Sure Sign of Spring

— Photos by PATTI M. CLARK
Despite the cool temperatures and the rain Saturday morning, the Owen County Terminators were out in force, facing Anderson County in their first home game of the season. They won the game 12-0. The Terminators will play at home again at 11:30 a.m. Saturday against Frankfort. They are coached by Mike Haines. As a result of the sale of the Lighthouse property, the Terminators will be playing home games on the Monterey Baptist Church lot on Sawdridge Creek Road south of Monterey. Haley DeCandia, top photo, is sure there will be an impact during this play just after the half in the match. Left, Allison Dempsey works the ball down the field with an Anderson defender right beside her. Above, Ashley Byers uses some fancy footwork to move the ball toward the goal.
