Jeanetta “Toodles”
Wainscott, 69, of New Columbus died March 27, 2006, at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of New Columbus Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Peggy Johnson, Debbie House
and Kimberly Schinck, all of Corinth, and Kathy Wilson of Williamstown;
two sons, Charles “Bootie” Wainscott and Mitchell
Wainscott, both of Corinth; a sister, Sherry King of Warsaw; three
brothers, Allen Perkins and Donald Perkins, both of Cincinnati,
and J.C. Perkins of Dennison, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; and several
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Junior Ray Wainscott; two sons, Jeffrey Lee Wainscott and Danny
Wainscott; two brothers, Rastus Perkins and Bobby Perkins; and
a sister, Sarah Perkins.
Funeral services were held April 1 at New Columbus Baptist Church.
Burial was in New Columbus Cemetery. Memorial donations may be
made to the charity of one’s choice.

Jones, 94
Kathryn Wilson Jones,
94, of Munster, Ind., died March 27, 2006, at Hartsfield Care
Center in Munster, Ind. She was born Oct. 16, 1911, in Owen County,
the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Lee Wilson. She was a
graduate of Corinth High School, Eastern Kentucky College and
Butler University. She and her husband owned and operated a general
store in Owen County from 1934 to 1954. She was an elementary
school teacher and a member of Center Square Baptist Church in
Munster, Lena Vista Baptist Church in Auburndale, Fla., and Switzerland
Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Davis Jones and his wife, Betty, of
Munser, Ind.; two grandchildren, Zachary and Emily; a sister,
Mary Lee True of Owen County; nieces Ruth Reed Wise, Nita Ann
True Smith and Reba Reed Woodall; and nephews Mark True and Theodore
“Ted” Jones. She was preceded in death by her husband,
Wallace Taylor Jones, and a sister, Margaret Reed.
Funeral services were held April 1 at Haskell & Morrison Funeral
Home in Vevay, Ind., with the Rev. Howard Wade officiating. Burial
was in Vevay Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons
Memorial Bible Plan, Switzerland Baptist Church or Center Square
Baptist Church.

Cobb, 80
Elizabeth Lucille Toole
Cobb, 80, of Owenton, died March 30, 2006, at New Horizons Medical
Center. Born Feb. 21, 1926, in Owen County, she was the daughter
of the late Clyde and Clarice Hunter Toole, was retired from the
Owen County Board of Education and was a member of Cedar Hill
Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Richard Wayne Cobb, Robert Bruce
Cobb and Paul Cameron Cobb, all of Owenton, and Barry Craig Cobb
of Frankfort; five daughters, Sarah June Richardson, Clarissa
Kay Young and Paulette Elizabeth Tolbert, all of Owenton, Mary
Lou Beasley of Albany, Ga., and Cynthia Ann Hall of Lawrenceburg;
a brother, Marvin “Pete” Toole of Carrollton; 21 grandchildren;
19 great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; and nieces
and nephews . She was preceded in death by two brothers and one
sister.
Funeral services were held April 3 at McDonald & New Funeral
Homes with Bro. John Lucas officiating. Burial was in Owenton
Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Hill Baptist

Perry, 89
Thomas H. Perry, 89,
of Dry Ridge, died March 29, 2006, at East Pasco Care Center in
Dade City, Fla. He was a retired barber and owner of Perry’s
Barber Shop, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Dry
Ridge Baptist Church and a member of Jonesville I.O.O.F.
He is survived by a son, Herschel Perry of Webster, Fla.; a sister,
Ruth Bishop of New Liberty; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. April 5 at Eckler-Hudson
Funeral Home in Dry Ridge. Burial will be in Jonesville I.O.O.F.
Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hernado Hospice in
Dade City, Fla.

Moore, 54
Ronald Edward Moore,
54, of Lebanon, Tenn., formerly of Grant County, died March 30,
2006, in Lebanon, Tenn. He was a truck driver with Direct Express
in Cincinnati.
He is survived by his wife, Carroll Moore of Lebanon, Tenn.; a
son, Robert Moore of Erlanger; a daughter, Billie White of Owenton;
brothers Gene Holbrook of Covington, Buddie Moore of Crittenden,
Gary Moore of Dry Ridge, Tommy Moore of Owenton and Richard Moore
of Cincinnati; a sister, Debora Moore of Covington; seven grandchildren;
and six step-grandchildren.
Funeral services were April 4 at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home in
Dry Ridge. Burial was in Clarks Creek Cemetery in Dry Ridge.
