Wanda New will cut her hair today on the Today Show. She was
selected to be one of two people interviewed during a segment
on Locks of Love. Her hair measures 57” from the crown
of her head to the tip of hair. It hasn’t been cut since
she was a freshman in high school. New is a mail carrier for
the Owenton Post Office.

It’s been 42 years since Wanda New’s hair has
been cut short.
But today, as part of a segment on the Today show featuring
people who are donating to Locks of Love, New will give up
her long tresses to help a child who has lost his or her hair.
