Several suspected drug dealers in Carroll and Owen counties were arrested Sunday, Feb. 19, after an early morning sweep conducted by the Kentucky State Police.

Owen supports bill to shift payments for prisoners

Owen County is joining forces with other counties in Kentucky to support a bill to make the state responsible for the expenses of inmates held locally, but charged with state offenses.


Heart walk is Saturday at

First Baptist

The Perrys and other Northern Kentucky families who have children with congenital heart defects will gather Saturday for the Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Walk.
The event, organized by Katie Columbia in honor of her son, Isaiah, will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
Several activities are planned for all ages and all proceeds will benefit congenital heart defect research being done at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
