Gap
Makes Donation

The Owen County Adult Learning Center received a $6,000 grant
to help fund the Job Readiness Program. Gap representative Elizabeth
Cotton made the presentation Thursday to center director, Veronica
Gayle. The program is designed to prepare adult students for workplace
success. It covers subjects such as resume writing, computer skills,
workplace skills and office skills as well as writing and math
skills.
