Jackie Fay and
Mary Ruth Robinson will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary
Feb. 10.
Jackie Fay was born Feb. 28, 1932, in Georgetown. He is
the son of Lucille Harp and Wood Robinson.
Mary Ruth was born Jan. 23, 1937, in Covington to Garnette
Bingham and A.C. Stephenson.
They were married Feb. 10, 1956, and raised six children
and have 11 grandchildren.
Their professional career as a singing and performing family
and songwriters have made them one of the best entertainment
groups in the fair industry.
Between them, they have recorded more than 100 songs on
various albums.
They own a 300-acre farm in Owen County, the current site
of The Kentucky Jamboree.
They are members of the Williamstown Christian Church in
Williamstown.

Bruce
Austin (Buck)
Bruce and Juanita Colson Bruce of Corinth celebrated their
60th wedding anniversary Feb. 2 at home with their family.
Over the years of marriage, they have been blessed with
a large family which includes five children: David Bruce
of Owenton, Beverly Coleman of Corinth, Debbie Primeau of
Corinth, Donna Conyers of Arkansas and Lisa York of Corinth;
12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Austin returned from serving in World War II in December
1945 and they were married Feb. 2, 1946, in Williamstown
with Bro. Hudson performing the wedding ceremony. Witnesses
were Betty Colson Ellis, sister of the bride, and her husband,
Billy Ellis.
