Traylor
named to dean’s list at G-town
Brooke Ashton Traylor,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darryl T. Traylor of Owenton, has been
named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Georgetown
College.
Beginning with the 2005-06 school year, the dean’s list
honors undergraduate students who complete the semester with at
least 12 hours and a 3.7 GPA
Fitzgerald
earns honors at JCC
Karla Fitzgerald was
named to the dean’s list at Jefferson Community and Technical
College. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must attend
classes full-time and maintain a 4.0 grade point average.
Students
named to National Honor Roll
Seven
local students were inducted into the National Honor Roll. They
were: Duston R. Curtis, Russell C. Dunn, Colin Ernsperger, Josh
Gibson, Tommy R. Glass, Crystal L. Goodrich and Heather Ann Keith,
all of Owen County High School.
The National Honor Roll recognizes high-achieving high school
and middle school students. It offers benefits including a prize
of $25,000 to be shared among 23 of its qualifying inductees.
“Young people such as our inductees, who work hard to attain
academic success, deserve to be congratulated,” said Lynn
