Strohmeier
participates in
Crimson
Christmas
Owen
County High School graduate and Transylvania University sophomore
Lauren Strohmeier recently participated in Transylvania’s
annual Crimson Christmas philanthropic event.
Transylvania’s Office of Residence Life and Big Brothers/Big
Sisters of the Bluegrass sponsored Crimson Christmas to provide
53 children with a holiday-filled afternoon. Children paired up
with students from each residence hall to attend a carnival with
booths hosted by a variety of Transylvania organizations.
Activities included face painting, arts and crafts, basketball,
karaoke and other carnival games. The children also enjoyed a
Christmas dinner complete with presents and a visit from Santa
and Mrs. Claus.
Strohmeier is the daughter of Kim and Francie Strohmeier of Owenton.

Cornman
graduates from
University
of Evansville
Jolie
Devon Cornman Lehmkuhl, daughter of Don and Beulah Cornman of
Owenton, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science
in physical therapy and a master of physical therapy degree from
the University of Evansville. She also received a minor in sports
medicine. While attending UE, Lehmkuhl was elected to Phi Eta
Sigma and the Mortar Board Honor Society. She was also an admission
ambassador and a member of Phi Mu.
Additionaly, she was involved with Young Life Ministries, an organization
that uses college students to minister to teens of area high schools.
She was awarded Best Research Presentation by her professors for
a research project she and her group conducted on normative values
useful in diagnosing thoracic outlet syndrome,
She is employed by Commonwealth Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
in Dry Ridge. She and her husband, Chris, live in Owen County.
